Bestefar's Stol (Grandfather's Chair)

"Bestefar's Stol" comes out of ancient Norwegian tradition. Reaching out from the depths of history, they come alive in our homes today. Mainly found in folk-museums, or as treasured heirlooms, only a rare few are crafted today. Only a tiny handful of artisans in Norway, and Norwegian Wood in America, continue the tradition. Their value lies both in their unique beauty and in their historical significance. A sense of continuity with a vital past emerges as we enjoy them in our homes.
These chairs are available in additional traditional colors. As antique reproductions, they are individually designed.
