In Norwegian folk art, the form of decorative flower painting known as rosemaling has been revered by collectors and loved by natives home and abroad since the 18th century. The hand-painted craft was used to adorn home furnishings and accessories, being especially popular for tables and chairs, storage trunks, ceilings, and walls.

Rosemaling is still appreciated today. Artist Synneva Rutlin applies her skills to create unique and intricate embellishments for furniture, accessories, interiors and more. Exclusively Norwegian!
